Some people are satisfied to proclaim their college football allegiance by just putting up a collegiate flag on game day. Others have decals on their car, or maybe a license plate cover, that proudly proclaims their alma mater.
Then there are the select few…
…that mow the college logo into their lawn.
(I love that about him.)
Jane, this made me laugh! And I love, love, love your new banner!
Thanks, Judy! Dogs are always a good choice…
Too cool!
I’ve never done any creative landscaping, but I have my college fight song as the ring tone on my phone. My kids knew that melody before they learned their ABC’s! (Ooh – that reminds me of a good story for my blog!!!) And when I made our family a corn hole set (yes – picture me with a jig saw) I painted it Vanderbilt’s black and gold. I had the magnetic decals for a while but they mysteriously disappeared over the years. I have a cheesy little Commodore figurine gracing our mantle. I’ll have to work on my mowing technique if I want to keep up with your household though!
Thanks for sharing!
Kris, your list sounds pretty darn impressive, especially since it involved the use of power tools. (I forgot to mention that our basement is painted Badger Red — it’s a good look.)
