A friend showed me Scrivener on his Mac once and I drooled all over his keyboard. (It was unsightly, to be sure.) I rushed home and googled “Scrivener for PCs” and got a bunch of results that said, basically, there is nothing this cool for the PC.

And I love that you’re trying it out for NaNoWriMo. Sounds like something I would do! ;-)

I tried yWriter on a manuscript once, mainly because it was in my price range. (i.e. free) It was cool how it let me organize the book and keep notes and a list of characters, but when I started my next project I went back to trusty old Word. Familiar is good. Good idea doing the tutorial. I don’t know if the program I tried had one or not… but it probably would have made a difference!

Any idea what you’re going to write? I don’t want you to give away anything important, but maybe you could give us a little teaser?!?
