That’s great that the kids are expanding their food repertoire! My kids aren’t picky, but neither are they totally open-minded either. What amuses me is how in some cases they will try something if you know how to word the description right. For example, my husband and I love Indian food. When we drag my kids along, they tell me they hate Indian food. They won’t even take a bite. Yet I have a number of Indian recipes I make at home. My oldest loves “that chick pea dinner” – which is basically the same Chana Masala that they “hate” at Indian restaurants.

Ignorance is bliss!

Now we’ll see what they think of the gumbo I’m experimenting with tonight!!!
