A fun learning experience. Too often it becomes all about bringing home the trophy. I hate to see young kids riding the bench because they “aren’t good enough” to get more playing time. How else are they supposed to get better? Fortunately my son has a pretty good coach too.

I had a 1-24 season my freshman year of high school. Do you brag about being a freshman starter if you’re on a team with that kind of record, or do you just keep quiet?!? LOL! I had fun though and I miss my days on the court!
